Dallas Police Investigate Homicide at the Intersection of North Masters Drive and Carolina Oaks Drive
On May 2, 2024, at about 7:00pm, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at the intersection of North Masters Drive and Carolina Oaks Drive. The preliminary investigation determined a minor vehicle accident happened in the intersection, after the crash people not involved in the crash started fighting and an unknown suspect started shooting, hitting three people.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and a 16-year-old was taken to a local hospital where they died. They will not be identified due to their age. A second victim was shot in the foot and transported to a local hospital in stable condition. A third victim self-transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
