Tampa Police Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3500 block of N. 15th St. Officers arrived to find an adult female in her mid-20s and an adult male in his mid-50s, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Both parties were known to each other, and investigators have confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The female was pronounced deceased at the scene. The male succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
Three uninjured minor children were also located inside the home during the response and have since been safely united with family members.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation. Additional information can be provided as the investigation allows.
