Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on skeletal remains found at 4477 West Sam Houston Parkway North (Beltway 8) about 12:35 p.m. on October 24.
The identity, gender and cause of death of the individual are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Lamont reported:
Officers responded to a report of skeletal remains found at the above address by a lawn crew. Upon arrival officers canvassed the area and found what is believed to be skeletal remains.
The investigation is pending results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
