Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash in the 7900 block of Katy Freeway (West Interstate Highway 10) service road about 5:55 a.m. today (October 22).
The identity of the deceased male, believed to be 30, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Ross and Officer L. Ho reported:
The body of a male was found at the above address. Preliminay information indicates the male had been struck by a vehicle. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
At this time, there is no information about the vehicle and the driver involved.
The investigation is ongoing.
