Dallas Police
On June 16, 2026, at approximately 9:05 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 9800 block of Walnut Street. The preliminary investigation determined that a woman had been shot by an unknown suspect. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to the hospital in critical condition where she died. The victim’s name is not being released pending next of kin notification. This ongoing investigation is documented under case number 087301-2026.
