Yesterday, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Scott K.H. Bessent met with Prime Minister Philip Davis of the Bahamas. Secretary Bessent was pleased to underscore the positive bilateral relationship between the United States and The Bahamas, and discuss the Bahamas’ plans for further growth in its financial sector. Secretary Bessent welcomed The Bahamas’ commitment to continue implementation of their fiscal consolidation plan.
