Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of two men at 6347 Windswept Lane at 7:35 p.m. on November 7.
The suspect, Isaias Armando Coc Xol, 18, is charged with capital murder in the 228th Criminal District Court. A recent photo of Coc Xol is attached to this news release.
The victims are identified as Rafael Xe Rax, 30, and Jose Cuz Shol, 21.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Gardner and Detective M. Providence reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to an assault call near the above address and located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to an area hospital where doctors pronounced him deceased.
While on scene, officers were notified of a second male lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Further investigation and evidence developed a possible suspect, seen walking away from the scene.
On Saturday (November 22), Coc Xol was charged for his role in this incident. He is not in custody and detectives are actively working to locate him.
