Charges have been filed against a suspect charged in the fatal stabbing of a female and wounding of a male at 10411 North Fallen Bough Drive about 1:45 a.m. on Sunday (May 11).
The suspect, Bao Hoang Dinh, 36, is charged with murder and aggravated assault of a family member in the 174th State District Court. A booking photo of Dinh is attached to this news release.
The identity of the female victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The male victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective R. Lujan reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to an assault call at a residence at the above address and observed a male with a large knife in an altercation with the victims in the front yard. Officers took the suspect into custody without incident.
The victims suffered multiple stabs wounds. Paramedics transported the male and female victim to the hospital, where doctors pronounced the female deceased.
Investigators consulted the Harris County District’s Office and the suspect was subsequently charged and booked into the Harris County Jail.
