A suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man at 6351 Ludington Drive about 9:55 p.m. on April 28, 2025, has been arrested.
Guztavo Arizmendi, 23, is charged with murder in the 338th Criminal District Court. A booking photo of Arizmendi is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Michel Badia Cremadichi, 50.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants C. Lafour and W. Elsbury and Detectives J. Diaz and D. Arnold reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a doorway inside the residence. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Mr. Badia Cremadichi deceased.
Further investigation determined two masked suspects with weapons entered the home and were seen fleeing the scene on foot. Preliminary information indicates the victim may have known the suspects. The suspect was later identified as Arizmendi, and on Wednesday (Sept. 17) was arrested by members of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders’ Task Force.
