Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 5402 Birdwood Road about 6:50 p.m. on June 21.
The juvenile male suspect, 16, was referred to the Harris County Juvenile Probation Authorities on a charge of murder. The name and photo of the juvenile suspect is not releasable.
The victim is identified as Ismail Ali, 28.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Barcak and G. Herrera reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call and found a male suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot at the above address. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Further investigation identified the juvenile male as a suspect in this case. On Monday (September 14), the suspect was arrested without incident.
