Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 7243 Bissonnet Street about 10:10 p.m. on September 6, 2025.
The suspect, Franco Morales-Aguilar, 22, is charged with murder in the 230th Criminal District Court. A booking photo of Morales-Aguilar is attached to this news release
The victim is identified as Anzoni Zuniga-Garcia, 33.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Burrow and Detectives E. May and C. Sharp reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the strip center parking lot at the above address. They found an unresponsive male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The male, identified as Mr. Zuniga-Garcia, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Further investigation identified Morales-Aguilar as the suspect in this case. He was arrested on February 17 and subsequently charged and booked into the Harris County jail.
