Houston police have released surveillance video of a person of interest in the fatal shooting of a male at 3800 Hickock Lane about 12:35 a.m. on Tuesday (September 8).
The victim is identified as Vinson Lawrence, 36.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. LaFour and Detectives L. Jumonji, D. Crowder and A. Vinogradov reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a crash at the above address and observed a vehicle crashed into a tree. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male inside the vehicle deceased. Officers located bullet casings on the street.
Investigators obtained surveillance video showing the victim speaking with a male prior to the shooting.
