Skeletal Remains Found: 12800 Bissonnet St. Probe

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on skeletal remains found in the 12800 block of Bissonnet Street at about 2:30 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 1).

The identity, gender and cause of death of the individual are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Dunn and Detective L. Brooks reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a report of skeletal remains found in a vacant field at the above address. There were no obvious signs of foul play.

The investigation is pending autopsy results.
