QuikTrip Makes Historic Investment in Dallas Police

Dallas Police

The Dallas Police Department and QuikTrip (QT) have been long-time partners in public safety, and this week, the Dallas Police Department proudly received a $10 million investment for our future Law Enforcement Training Center at the University of North Texas at Dallas, which will enhance the premier academy education our officers receive with a state-of-the-art facility. The new training center will include space for classroom education, physical training, and immersive environments for scenario training. This $10 million gift is the largest donation is QT’s history.

“QuikTrip’s historic investment is more than a gift to the Dallas Police Department; it is an investment in the future of public safety in Dallas,” said Dallas Police Chief Daniel Comeaux. “The challenges facing modern policing continue to evolve, and our responsibility is to ensure officers are prepared with the highest level of training possible. This extraordinary partnership will help us better equip the men and women who serve this city every day, and we are deeply grateful for QuikTrip’s continued commitment to Dallas.”

QT has previously purchased blocker trucks to protect first responders on busy roads and highways and provided more than $1.5 million to update our current reality-based training facility.
