Houston police are asking for the public’s help in locating four persons of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man at 201 Plaza Verde Drive about 12:15 a.m. on October 3.
The individuals are described only as black males. Photos of three of the persons of interest are attached to this news release. A fourth male is not pictured but is believed to be associated with the other three males.
The victim is identified as Lavelle Bryant, 35.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Elliott and D. Hobson reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address. Upon arrival officers found the victim, identified as Mr. Bryant, near the apartment leasing office. Bryant had stated four suspects forced entry into his apartment and shot him. Bryant was able to walk down the nearby apartment leasing office before collapsing. Bryant told a witness he had been the victim of a home invasion.
Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Bryant to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Further investigation identified four persons of interest. Three are pictured below.
