Houston police need the public’s help in identifying a person of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal stabbing of a male found at 2000 Crawford Street about 3:30 p.m. on May 17.
The person of interest is only described as a black male wearing a dark hooded jacket and khaki pants. A photo of the person of interest, who is not charged, is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Henry Lee, 53.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Bounds and C. Davidson reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a suspicious vehicle inside a parking garage at the above address. Officers opened the vehicle and discovered a male in the backseat who appeared to have suffered a stab wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Further investigation identified the unknown male as a person of interest. The male was last seen walking northbound on Crawford Street.
