Dallas Police
On April 5, 2026, at approximately 2:43 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 4500 block of Village Fair Drive. The preliminary investigation determined that an altercation between two groups escalated and the two groups began shooting at each other. An uninvolved female bystander was hit in the leg and transported to the hospital in stable condition by Dallas Fire-Rescue. Investigators identified six men as persons of interest seen on surveillance video entering the business, being involved in the shooting, and then leaving the location in a gray Honda CRV and black Dodge Charger. This investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 048426-2026.
