Police Probe Woman’s Death on Banks Street

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 1116 Banks Street about 10:10 a.m. on June 1.

The identity and cause of death of the female is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Stroble and Detective A. Finlay reported:

HPD patrol officer responded to an apartment complex at the above address and met with Houston Fire Department paramedics who had found an unresponsive female inside an apartment. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is pending cause of death by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
