Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 10110 Westview Drive about 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday (February 24).
The identity and cause of death of the female, 45, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Lafour and Detective E. Camacho reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a call about a deceased person at an apartment complex at the above address. They found an unresponsive female inside an apartment. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.
A male in a relationship with the female told officers he returned to the apartment and found her unresponsive.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the female had what appeared to be contusions to her head area. The investigation is pending the female’s cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
