Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on skeletal remains found at 1003 Greens Road about 4:35 p.m. on Monday (July 7).
The identity, gender and cause of death of the individual are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Ponder reported:
Officers responded to a report of skeletal remains found in a vacant field at the above address. HPD homicide detectives and investigators with the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences confirmed the skeletal remains were human.
The investigation is pending results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
