Police Probe Men’s Death at Downey Street Address

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of two males found at 11617 Downey Street about 5:15 p.m. on September 14.

The identity and cause of death of both males is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives G. Herrera and R. Barcak reported:

Officers responded to a report of a person down at the above address after a neighbor reported a foul odor coming from the residence. Officers located two unresponsive males inside the residence. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the males deceased at the scene.

The investigation is pending the males cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
