PNI Task Force, SE Patrol Nab Drug Trafficker

Following a tip from our law enforcement partners at the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the Dallas Police PNI Task Force, Southeast Patrol and DPS personnel seized guns, drugs and arrested a drug trafficker.

On July 15, 2025, Dallas Police executed a search warrant in the 3100 block of Harmon Street that resulted in the seizure of 2,499.8 grams of THC Wax, 7,397 grams of Marijuana, 1.3 grams of Oxycodone, 252.4 grams of THC edibles, 2.8 grams of Adderall, 8 bottles of Promethazine, scales, packaging heat sealer, multiple packaging, a rifle magazine, a pistol magazine and speed loader, multiple cameras and a DVR.




During the warrant service, 26-year-old Ricky Morrison was driving toward the location, saw police and drove off at a high rate of speed. Officers located Morrison and observed him failing to use a turn signal which led to a traffic stop, where he was taken into custody without incident.

Morrison is charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a third-degree felony; Possession of Marijuana 5 – 50 lbs., a third-degree felony; Possession of a Controlled Substance, a third-degree felony; and for Failure to Signal Turn and Operating a Motor Vehicle without a Driver’s License. This investigation is documented under case number 100422-2025.
