On February 2, 2026, at about 8:41 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a disturbance call in the 4300 block of Woodhollow Drive regarding an armed suspect who was threatening people with a gun in his hand. Officers entered the residence and learned the suspect was inside the bathroom with another person. Officers gave verbal commands to the suspect. While officers were inside the residence, witnesses yelled “He has a gun, he has a gun.” Shots were fired. Two people were struck. Both were taken to local hospital for medical treatment. One officer was shot in his vest. The officer was transported to a local hospital for precautionary reasons.
