The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect in a stabbing in Northwest.
On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at approximately 12:47 a.m., Third District officers responded to the 200 block of W Street, Northwest, for the report of an unconscious person. Upon arrival officers located an adult male unconscious not breathing, suffering from a stab wound. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
On Thursday, May 1, 2025, as a result of the detective’s investigation, with the assistance of DC Housing Authority Police, 33-year-old Bryan Wilson of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault With Intent to Kill.
