Dallas Police
On July 5, 2026, at approximately 2:13 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a disturbance emergency with ambulance call in the 4200 block of Harry Hines Boulevard. The preliminary investigation determined that Dillion Hill, 34, and John Zuniga, 50, were involved in a physical altercation outside when Hill punched Zuniga, causing him to fall and hit his head. Zuniga was transported to the hospital in critical condition by Dallas Fire-Rescue. Hill was arrested at the scene and charged with Aggravated Assault Causes Serious Bodily Injury. On July 9, 2026, Mr. Zuniga died at the hospital and Hill has now been charged with Murder. This ongoing investigation is documented under case number 097558-2026.
