MPD Makes Arrest In Northeast Assault

The Metropolitan Police Department announces an arrest of two suspects involved in an assault that occurred in Northeast.

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, at approximately 12:28 a.m., First District officers responded to the 800 block of 10th Street, Northeast, for the report of a stabbing. Two adult males were involved in a dispute that escalated to a physical altercation. During the altercation, one of the subjects produced a knife and stabbed the other. DC Fire and EMS transported the stabbing patient to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Both men involved in the offense were placed under arrest. 38-year-old Kenyon Davis of Southeast, DC, was charged with Threats to Kidnap or Injure, and Simple Assault. 51-year-old Leon Clark Jr. was charged with Assault With A Dangerous Weapon (Knife). Clark was additionally charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
