MPD Arrests Suspect in Nightclub Burglaries

The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect involved in three burglaries that occurred in Northwest.

Burglary II: On Saturday, September 5, 2026, at approximately 8:39 a.m., the suspect forcefully gained entry into the closed commercial business in the 1000 block of Vermont Avenue, Northwest. The suspect then took property and fled the scene. CCN 26126303

Burglary II: On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at approximately 9:58 a.m., the suspect gained entry into the closed commercial business in the 1000 block of Vermont Avenue, Northwest. The suspect then took property and fled the scene. CCN 26128209

Burglary II: On Saturday, September 12, 2026, at approximately 9:53 a.m., the suspect gained entry into the business in the 1000 block of Vermont Avenue, Northwest, after claiming a roof leak needed to be fixed. The suspect then took property and fled the scene. CCN: 26129969

Through investigative leads and security camera footage, Second District detectives were able to identify a suspect.

On September 15, 2026 as result of Second District detectives’ investigation, 42-year-old Reginald Ivan Ross, Laurel, Maryland, was arrested and charged with three counts of Burglary II.
