MPD Arrests One, Seeks Two in Northwest Robbery

The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a juvenile in an armed robbery in Northwest.

On July 30, 2025, at approximately 1:31 p.m., multiple suspects approached the victim in the 1300 block of V Street, Northwest. One suspect brandished a handgun, pointing it at the victim before demanding the victim’s property. The victim complied, and the suspect fled the scene with the property.

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, MPD members of the Juvenile Investigative Response Unit (JIRU) and the Criminal Apprehension Unit (CAU) arrested a 13-year-old juvenile male of Northwest, DC. The juvenile was charged with Armed Robbery.

This case remains under investigation. Anyone who can identify these suspects or who has knowledge of this incident, should take no action but call police
