Dallas Police
On July 8, 2026, at approximately 9:26 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3400 block of Michigan Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined that officers located two individuals who had been shot. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene, where both victims died. Two juvenile suspects, a 15-year-old male and 14-year-old male, were later located and taken into custody. They have been charged with Capital Murder and transferred to the Henry Wade Juvenile Justice Center. The Dallas County Medical Examiner will assist in identifying the victims. This ongoing investigation will be documented under case number 099501-2026.
