40 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a robbery call in the 9800 block of Dale Crest Drive. The preliminary investigation determined the victim was robbed at gun point at the location by three juvenile suspects who stole the victim’s car and personal property. A short time later, Dallas Police officers located the stolen vehicle in the 2700 block of W Northwest Highway and requested additional officers to respond to assist with stopping the vehicle. At about 2 a.m., in the 3100 block of W Northwest Highway, a marked Dallas Police squad car occupied by two officers was involved in a collision with the stolen vehicle. All three suspects in the stolen vehicle were injured, two critically, and were taken to the hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue. One suspect died at the hospital. Both officers were transported to the hospital and have since been released.
Due to the suspects’ ages, their names will not be released. This is an ongoing investigation and is documented under case numbers 080379-2025, 080392-2025 and 080447-2025.
