Investigation Into Fatal Shooting At 13330 Fondren Road

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two men at 13330 Fondren Road at about 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday (October 8).

The identities of the victims, 51 and 35, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives P. Michon and I. Barrett reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found a man, 51, suffering from gunshot wounds inside a business. Officers were advised that there was a second shooting victim in the parking lot of 13479 Fondren Road. The male victim, 35, had also suffered gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced both males deceased at the scene.

Officers learned the second victim was a witness to the initial shooting.

Shortly after, officers responded to a shooting call at 8000 Creekbend drive and found a male, 42, suffering from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound inside a vehicle. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene. The male and the vehicle he was in matched the description of the suspect and suspect’s vehicle from the Fondren Road scenes.

Investigators also learned the deceased suspect was sought for an earlier fatal shooting in Sugar Land, Texas.

At this time, the investigation is ongoing.
