Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occured at 15000 Old Humble Road about 11:10 p.m. on Sunday (October 12).
The identity of the deceased male, 50, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer N. Solomon reported:
A white GMC Denali was traveling northbound at the above address while a maroon Harley Davidson motorcycle was eastbound on North Sam Houston Parkway East. The operator of the motorcycle failed to stop at a red light and struck the GMC. The motorcyclist was ejected. Paramedics transported him to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The occupants of the GMC were not injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
