Dallas Police
On February 10, 2026, at approximately 7:46 p.m. Dallas Police officers responded to a shooting call at 2200 S. Zang Boulevard.
The preliminary investigation determined that two people had been shot as their vehicle drove from the location. Kayli Lopez, 24, was found unresponsive. A second victim, a 21-year-old male was also shot. Dallas Fire and Rescue responded and transported both victims to a local hospital, where Lopez died.
The investigation is ongoing and will be documented on case number 019453-2026.
