Dallas Police
On August 21, 2026, at approximately 6:00 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a Shooting call in the 8000 block of Great Trinity Forest Way. The preliminary investigation determined that 65-year-old Marvin Harper was shot by an individual that fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
Mr. Harper was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased sometime later.
The facts and circumstances surrounding this incident are currently being investigated and will be documented on case #122750-2026.
