Dallas Police
On June 1, 2026, at approximately 5:40 am, officers responded to a shooting call in the 7500 block of Chesterfield Drive. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived that a man had been shot by an unknown suspect. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene, where the man died. The Dallas County Medical Examiner will assist in identifying the victim. The investigation is ongoing and is documented on case number 078694-2026.
