Dallas Police
On August 31, 2025, at about 5:10 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 1800 block of Jeffries Street.
The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found a man had been shot at the location.
The man was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injury.
The suspect, 66-year-old Charles Reeder, was arrested, taken to Dallas County Jail, and charged with Murder.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office will assist in identifying the man.
