Dallas Police
On September 6, 2026, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a Shooting call in the 5600 block of S.R.L. Thornton Freeway Northbound. The preliminary investigation determined that 27-year-old Joshua Wansley was shot by an unknown suspect. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported Wansley to a local hospital in critical condition.
On September 7, 2026, Wansley was pronounced deceased.
