Homicide Reported at 3700 Vilbig Rd

On May 26, 2026, about 12:20 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3700 block of Vilbig Road. The preliminary investigation determined that when officers arrived, they located three people who had been shot by an unknown suspect. Two of the victims died at the scene, and one died at the hospital. Two of the victims were identified as 20-year-old Jaiclyn Scott and 19-year-old Journie Griffin. The third deceased victim’s name will be released after their family has been notified. A fourth shooting victim was transported to the hospital by private vehicle and is in stable condition.
