Dallas Police
On December 23, 2025, at about 9:10 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 4200 block of Independence Drive. The preliminary investigation determined that when officers arrived, they found 55-year-old David Brown suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at the location. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced Brown deceased at the scene.
