Dallas Police
On September 12, 2026, at approximately 12:55 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 5900 block of Highland Village Drive. The preliminary investigation determined that when officers arrived, they found multiple victims shot at the location by unknown suspects. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported six victims to a local hospital. Five victims are reported in stable condition. Zariea Brown, 25, died at the hospital.
The motives and circumstances surrounding this offense are still under investigation.
