Great Arrest By Central Patrol

On September 24, 2025, at approximately 3:30 a.m., officers from the Central Patrol Division arrested 19-year-old Nathaniel Sepeda in the 1900 block of North Lamar Street after he attempted to steal a vehicle and flee from officers.

Utilizing real-time tracking provided by Dallas Fusion, Dallas Police monitored Sepeda’s movements across multiple patrol divisions as he made several stops and switched vehicles in an effort to evade capture. Sepeda was ultimately apprehended in the 700 block of South Walton Walker Boulevard following a coordinated pursuit involving patrol and covert units.

Both vehicles operated by Sepeda were confirmed stolen. A search of one of the recovered vehicles revealed a grocery bag containing marijuana, approximately $4,300 in cash, multiple identification cards, stolen license plates, two vehicle program scanners, numerous burglary tools, and five firearms.

Sepeda was transported to the Lew Sterrett Justice Center and charged with:

Burglary of Motor Vehicle – Class A Misdemeanor.

Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle – Class A Misdemeanor.

Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle – State Jail Felony.

Multiple outstanding warrants, including two outstanding felony warrants.
