Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a female that occurred at 3301 Navigation Boulevard about 9:15 p.m. on Friday (Dec. 26).
The identity of the victim, 27, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L. Kauffman and Detective E. Espinal reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to an assault call at the above address and located a woman with a stab wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported her to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Detectives learned the female was involved in a physical altercation with another female when the stabbing occurred. The suspect fled the scene.
