Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8917 South Gessner Road about 4:30 a.m. on September 7.
The identity of the victim, 34, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. May and Detective C. Sharp reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found a male with a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates two Hispanic male suspects were committing an aggravated robbery when the victim was shot and killed. Both suspects fled the scene.
