Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 8501 Broadway Street about 12:35 p.m. on Thursday (September 10).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives T. Tyler and N. Sharp reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at an apartment complex at the above address. Officers found an unresponsive male inside a unit. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased.
Officers learned the male had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. A bullet hole was found in the victim’s bedroom window.
At this time there is no known motive or suspect(s).
