Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 2900 Airport Boulevard about 2:05 a.m. on Sunday (May 11).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 30s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Lopez and Detective N. Sharp reported:
HPD patrol officers observed a person down on a sidewalk at the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Buffum Street. The man had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Officers later determined the man was possibly shot several yards away at a house in the 10600 block of Buffum Street.
At this time there are no known suspect(s) or motive.
