The fatal shooting of a man at 11900 Oakmoor Parkway about 4:25 p.m. on August 17 will be referred to a Harris County Grand Jury.
The identity of the deceased male, 26, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives B. Bradford and P. Michon reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found a male with at least one gunshot wound in the parking lot. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Officers located a second male with minor injuries as a result of the shooting.
Officers learned there was a disturbance and more than one person fired shots. Investigators met with all parties involved, and after consulting with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, it was determined the shooting would be referred to a Harris County Grand Jury.
