Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11770 Westheimer Road about 8 p.m. on Tuesday (November 25).
The identity of the victim, 36, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Vaughn and L. Patterson reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in a parking lot at an apartment complex at the above address. Officers located an unresponsive male with multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned an altercation led to the shooting incident. Officers detained two other individuals who are believed to be involved in the incident. At this time, no one is charged as the investigation continues.
