Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12600 Brookglade Circle about 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday (March 3).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 50s, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. LaFour and Detectives G. Zavala, K. Stringer and E. Torres reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a mee firefighter call at the above address and located an unresponsive male. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned the male was involved in a verbal altercation, that led to a physical confrontation, with another male. At some point, the suspect shot the victim and fled the scene on foot.
The unknown suspect is described only as a black male in his 20s.
