Houston police are investigating the fatal auto-pedestrian crash at 12900 U.S. Highway 90 about 5:25 a.m. today (May 12).
The identity of the deceased male pedestrian is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Patterson and Officer N. Kumar reported:
A blue Mercedes-Benz EQB was traveling northbound at the above address when the vehicle struck a pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Mercedes-Benz remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
The investigation is ongoing.
