Dallas Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the two persons of interest seen on video leaving the scene of a shooting in Deep Ellum.
On May 5, 2026, at approximately 10:23 p.m. Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2900 block of Commerce Street. The preliminary investigation determined that five people were shot by an unknown suspect who left before police arrived. Three of the victims were transported to the hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue; the other two by private vehicle. All were reported to be in stable condition. This is an ongoing investigation, documented under case number 064315-2026.
